Illinois HOSA-Future Health Professionals vision is to adequately prepare healthcare workers for the 21st century. Through adequate preparation, the acute shortage of qualified healthcare workers in the healthcare industry will be decreased.
Illinois HOSA would like to invite all members to join us at our in-person Fall Leadership Conference 2023. The Illinois HOSA Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) is an opportunity for students to learn about health care careers, leadership and all things HOSA! FLC 2023 includes information about state officer elections held at the State Leadership Conference (SLC), Competitive Events (CE), the National Service Project, as well as a variety of pertinent workshops. The Conference will be held on Monday, October 23rd at the Wyndham Springfield City Centre. More information will be shared to advisors via email. Members are encouraged to follow our instagram (@hosa.illinois) account to stay up to date with conference updates.
Chapters who attend FLC 2023 will bring home excited students and advisors who are motivated to develop their chapter's Program of Work (POW) for the upcoming Illinois HOSA year.
Illinois HOSA encourages all active local chapter leaders to attend the Illinois HOSA (FLC). Through this conference, members have an opportunity to gain skills in leadership through keynote speakers, workshops, and information regarding competitive events offered. The momentum is sparked at FLC as members, advisors, and industry partners come together to celebrate the possibilities and develop their leader within!

Illinois became a charter state for HOSA-FHP at the 1st National Leadership Conference in April, 1978.
HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions.
